I still love the Wizard of Oz....
I can remember when I was young, back in the 80's, they would only show it once a year on TV...It was a really big deal because you couldnt yet watch movies on dvd's or videos.....
I still cry when Dorothy says goodbye to everyone at the end...Its such a feel good movie...
When I made the necklace pictured, I just had to name it the Emerald City Necklace....It also reminds me of the crystal ball of the Wicked Witch of the West.....How about you?

Wow!! What a vivid description. It does remind me of Oz..beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love that movie. Just doesn't seem right that they're redoing it with someone else playing Dorothy than Judy Garland. The piece is gorgeous, too. Does remind you of the Emerald City.
